I have two variants of this fan. The original Maverick (which isn't "smart") and this newer one which is compatible with the Bond Bridge. The original is nearly perfect, except it isn't smart. However, this newer smart one works perfectly with the Bond Bridge (never misses a command) but the Achilles heel: The range on the remote control is absolutely *terrible*.

If you want to use the remote, you have to come very close to the fan and press the button. Or, if you're at a distance of say more than 5ft-6ft (like, right under the fan) you have to wave it around and mash it multiple times and, eventually, it will comply. That makes using this fan, while amazing in every other way, extremely frustrating. So, hopefully you're planning on using the Bond Bridge with a smart home integration. Otherwise, prepare to suffer with the remote.
