This product was exactly as described online. In addtion to the receiver and remote handset, it came with two batteries, wire nuts, screws if needed for mounting the remote frame, and appropriate installation and pairing instructions. I hired an electrician to replace the receiver in a ceiling fan, but in retrospect could have done the work myself. It took the electrician about 10 minutes to reaplce the receiver but he spent more time reading the instructions on how to pair the receiver with the handheld and an existing wall controller. Overall, the install and paring took a bit less than 30 minutes.
