    This extension does not work well for trims without screws such as Signature Provincetown trim.
    The problem the part is made for valves that are roughed or end up being buried by the tile guy exactly 1 inch. However on the compression style screwless trim if its 3/4 inch deep it will not work.
    that heavy brass piece should come in diffrent depths or made where you can remove or adjust in 1/4 inch increments.
