Installed with French doors. Took some time but fairly straightforward if you have some natural ability. In a completely quiet room you can here the fan kick on and off. If a tv is on or a humidifier you will not here anything. Only negative is you can not turn off blue led setting temperatures. Should have been wired with rest.of blue led lights which can be set always on, on with door open or always off. I bought a window blackout decal and cut a 1.25" strip and stick it on the inside of the door to hide the light. Units seem very solid and well built. Glass shelves a real plus. I had Reddit with wire racks and something was always rattling. Wine shelves pull out smoothly and seem just fine. I bought Warranty so I think I am good for 5 years and hopefully much longer.
