    Terrible customer service, both Amazon and EdgeStar
    Item was shipped to us with the damage shown in the photo. The unit was to be used in a kitchen renovation and because of details regarding installation and other dependent factors focused on the wine fridge, we could not send it back (we did determine the electronics, compressor, etc. seemed to be working). We requested price adjustment from Amazon, they said no can do, that's the seller's responsibility and the seller, EdgeStar, said no way, it's Amazon's responsibility, THEY'RE the reseller. So, nobody's at fault? This isn't the end of this, we'll see who steps up to do the right thing. I'll note that in a subsequent or edited review. Update: Edgestar said they'd discount it slightly if we'd give them information which could only be found on the bottom or rear of the unit. Due to some unique installation requirements, we can only remove it if we dismantle part of the cabinetry that was under construction. For reasons they will not explain, absolute proof of purchase is insufficient. My best guess is they said this because I was upfront initially about our installation issues. Even worse customer service, intentionally deceitful.

      Love the stainless steel door, wood shelves and dual zone. Dislike the top shelves are for red wine and only holds 8 bottles. The bottom zone holds 12 bottles for wine. I drink more red than white. The temp controls are set for red on top and white for bottom so you can’t swap. I also like that the light inside automatically turns on when the door is opened. Well worth the money. Highly recommend.

      The good: The unit was easy to install and fit exactly where the trash compactor was. Measure your space *carefully* against the dimensions of this cooler to make sure it will fit. Also adjust the feet so the door is not leaning forward as it may not stay closed, or will open too easily.
      The shelving is cheap; larger bottles have trouble fitting. But for the size, price, and 2 zones I WAS happy. Until….

      The bad: after 3 years of operation,
      beeping started and the display read “LO” on one side. I called and emailed product “support”. They sent a service manual for replacing a logic board, and sold me a new board. BUT their “service manual” does not include *this* model. So your guess is as good as the customer service rep’s how to locate and fix the control board in my model.

      Turns out, after taking the entire thing apart from the front, the part I needed to find is IN BACK of the unit. And it ain’t easy to get to the screws. And now I have to try to reconstruct the entire thing without knowing if the fix will work.
      Sure I could hire a refrigerator repair person. But a) who works on “Edgestar” and 2) it will cost almost as much as a new unit.
      Basically you buy cheap you get cheap and you’re on your own.

      I bought this item to fit the cabinet where I originally had an icemaker. After it failed and was uneconomic to repair, I decided to use the space for a wine chiller. It fit exactly, and has performed as described in the spec sheet. Installation was easy, and I have had no problems at this point. My only critique might be the shelves which slide, rather than being on rollers for smoother action.

      Replacement for the same brand I bought 12 years ago. The new one is exact same size and some improvements. Lights automatically come on when door is opened. Door glass is black filtered. Rack is black wire with wood front edge which hold bottles better than the flat wood racks from older version. Very nice unit

      Had this thing for about a year and a half now. Bottom part sticks out farther than other appliances (installers had to modify base board). Door pops open if you close it with a little force (bounces back). Compressor has apparently become loose and rattles. I guess I can fix that, but still annoying.

      We bought this in 2019 and waited to see how it worked before writing the review. I love this wine chiller. We have it built into our cabinets. I almost never hear it running...it has to be super quiet in the house before I hear it, no vibration at all. Keeps the wine just how we like it. Great Purchase!!
