This unit has a flaw that makes it unusable for me, and I would think for a lot of other people. I have it installed in an outdoor kitchen at a lake house. On occasion we have power failures. I have a generator so the power loss is for a very short time. When this unit is powered off for any length of time, it does not come back on till you power it back on manually. In my case, this lets a potentially full keg of beer get hot, since I am often not there for two weeks at a time. I have several other refrigeration units and this is the only one that has this problem. I called EdgeStar support and they told me to get a WiFi power failure alarm and have one of my neighbors turn it back on when I get a message the power has been off. Then I get an email saying my problem was resolved. If this is how they resolve a definite flaw in there unit, then I would not recommend this product to anyone. I am going to try a UPS battery back up and see if that works.
