The fact that the PF1500 bowl is designed for a 3” flush valve was not stated anywhere. Description said to match with a tank of your choice. I had a costly special tank for corner install I wanted to use. My tank was equipped with the standard 2” flush valve. I learned the hard way, after installing the bowl, that my tank was not compatible with this bowl. After discarding $27 worth of tank gaskets recommended by a plumbing supply store I went to Home Depot and bought their 3” gasket. Cost $8. The standard 2” gasket placed on top of the standard 3” gasket in combination worked. PS: Turns out the bowl was chipped.
