    This is made with solid metal material with nice brushed nickel finish!! I have a 58” long standard tub. It looks like the rod has several inches to extend to fit longer tub. I used diamond bits from a small bit to 1/4” bit without a glitch. Excellent rod. Huge difference with curved rod!!

    I have plenty of knowledge and handy man experience.. However I found it difficult to install so that it was esthetically pleasing.. After many attempts I figured it out.. The bar is to long and hangs to far outside of tub. If you try to adjust it then the ends will be near your shower head. It Looks terrible.. Start be connecting all pieces then holding up in place to get to see if it needs adjustments.. It probably will.. The bar is too curved and too long. The bar needs to be less curved and must be adjusted. To adjust curve simply Put bar on solid padded surface. I recommend carpet or rug. Let one end lay flat on floor and other end should be curved in the upright position.. it doesn't matter which end you start with. Put knee on bar that is closest to the floor and close to middle of curve. The other still in upright position. Now place on hands on both ends.. Gently push bar is a downward motion slowly using gentle force in order to (Slightly) straighten. Basically making the bar less curved.. Carefull not to bend to much.. you may need help doing this.. the bars is fairly solid and may need to be adjusted a few times... I would also recommend cutting the bar shorter by using hacksaw or grinder cut each end 1 to 2 inches equally..only after the bar has been slightly straightened.. after every new adjustment hold bar in place and readjust as needed.. Mine turned out absolutely perfect.. looks amazing and hangs correctly.. if your not comfortable doing by yourself, don't do it.. I highly recommend having a second person to help.. Good luck
