    Works very well to raise showerhead, but also if you want to add a combination diverter, such as the High Sierra 3-way or 4-way diverters.

    This would be perfect, except that my shower door hits it if I swing to the inside (which is helpful in drying the shower after use to reduce mildew). Placement of the shower head in my new shower was a bit low for me (5’7”), so I swapped it for this. It raised the shower head significantly (about 6 inches plus the inch or so from the downward angle of the old shower area, which was just right for me, until I got out of the shower and almost broke the glass door when I swung it inward!
    The cover plate provided is very flimsy, so I used the one that came with my other shower arm.
    It would be very helpful if manufacturers would provide very specific dimensions of the installed product, so that buyer could verify before purchasing whether the item will fit the intended space.
    If your shower door only swings out, this would be an excellent way to add height to the showerhead, but if it swings inward, it could be risky. Currently I have a small showerhead attached; if a larger one is attached, even more clearance would be needed if the door swings inward on that wall.

    So I understand it's case by case, perhaps my showers in house I bought were made for little people which annoyed the crap out of me, as it's really about saving material, same goes for cheap furniture and such ... But anyway I got this it of course worked as should easy install no issues, but it's still not tall enough for me, I was hoping it would rase it 1.5 ft but it doesn't, maybe 1 ft at best. Can't do a picture rn not at home. But anyway read it measure it.
