    We have an older home that is slowly getting updated. We found this Maxim series and I originally bought the 8 bulb for the dining room and the 5 bulb for the entry. Once they arrived I swapped their intended locations as they fit better. Wonderful! We did get dimmable 60W daylight bulbs and it is bright so glad it dims. The black and gold are in style but I don't think super trendy. The gold is a pretty finish - not too shiny or too yellow.
