I want this on my house so badly
Let me start out by saying this is a beautiful outdoor wall light. That said, it overpowers our existing lighting on either side of the garage door and on the post light. So it cannot be installed on the front of the house where it can be seen in all its glory. The details of the wall light are aesthetically pleasing and the glass insert is seeded, which gives it a nice look. You have no idea how my wheels are spinning to find somewhere for it to go on the outside. I have even thought about installing it on the inside, but that obviously would be a poor choice on my part. So I am checking out the pool area (water is nice, by the way) but two ceiling fans have the lighting covered. Every outside door area has lighting. You just don't know how badly I want this installed! If you were to see it, you would understand, since it is magnificent and deserving of a magnificent house. I have a large home, but it deserves something grander. It is that nice of an outside light. But at 18 inches high and 11 inches wide, it makes all of my outside lighting pale in comparison.

    I purchased these lamps to replace older aluminum ones that were looking rough. The material is a resin that looks like aged bronze; they should last a lot longer. The lamps are light which makes installation easier. REALLY pleased with the quality and price.

    This light fixture is supposed to be made of steel. It costs $240 and is an outdoor light fixture ... of course it should be made of steel. But the one I received on 7/6/2024 is made entirely of PLASTIC. The whole fixture -- everything except the screws -- is made of plastic. It looks like this was previously made of steel but now I am thinking this was made using a 3D printer for about $25 worth of plastic materials. DO NOT BUY (unless you want a plastic light fixture, in which case, it looks very nice).

    The add says it is made of other metals, but seems to be mostly a resin type of plastic. the screws that hold the glass cage on strip out very easily. The quality is mediocre, but it is nice looking. They do not include wire nuts in the installation hardware. I would not purchase this item again. I would hesitate to buy anything from Quoizel again since the product description claimed it was made of other metals and it does not have much metal in it. It does have a five year warranty.

    This wall light is HUGE and absolutely gorgeous. It was easy to install and now graces the portico of our house looking elegant and grand. I love how the seeded glass makes the light fixture look old world. I thought I might need two to get enough light in the evening, but after putting three LED lights, I realized that one was more than enough. This light is too large for a smallish porch or entrance. It would work best when you have a large enough porch so the light doesn't dwarf everything around it. The warranty is very generous-5 years finish, 10 years electrical, so there shouldn't be any worries that it's going to fail in a year I had that happen to me with a couple of Costco My only complaint is that at this price point it should have a dusk to dawn sensor. I went ahead and hardwired a sensor to it and it works great. Overall, if you're looking for a high-end light, this one won't disappoint.
