I replaced a cheaper lantern with this one, and the difference in quality is substantial. This lantern is heavy (but not overwhelmingly so) and I love the small bubbles in the glass. Luckily I had some LED candelabra bulbs on hand, because that's what this needs. I was also lucky because I was able to mount this lantern on the same backing as the old one, so it seems to be the "standard" size. I like how large it is, so you can clearly see it from the sidewalk. It adds a lot of character to my front porch. I got it for a good deal used, and overall I am happy.
