I got this for my home's front vestibule. This is a small space that opens to the foyer. The previous light fixture did not compliment the architecture: 1990's transitional fixture in a cottage. I needed something that was near to the ceiling, gave a good amount of light and was attractive. This is a lovely light. Although the panes are variously tinted the light is clear and white. Working in a dark and cramped space made us grateful that installation was straightforward. I am now casting a critical eye around my home for other fixtures to replace.
